Jillian Wirth I have been a fan of Slender Means for, wow, 14 years! As a college student 2,000 miles away from my home of Philadelphia, I saw them play in 2003 or 2004 in Salt Lake City Utah at a famous hole in the wall venue, Kilby Court. Their music absolutely took my breath away, and I'm a critical music enthusiast. I scraped my pennies together on the spot, and bought their 4 track (?) EP. I'm fairly certain the album Neon and Ruin wasn't available yet, although I know I eventually got my hands on it not long after, so my memory is foggy. This album has so many amazing memories attached to it, but the music stands on its own without memories needed to love it! The lead vocals are just a dream, as is the song writing and all else. Xx.
